I am currently a gay male attending an ASHA Accredited university masters program in Southern California. It's comforting to know about this organization as I prepare to enter the field. I feel it's important to maintain professionalism and also who a person is no matter what field one works. I am attempting to complete my masters thesis relating some aspect of the GLBT community to Speech-Language Pathology and intend to join this organization when I complete my degree in the summer of 2011.
